TASAWAR Curatorial Studios are a postgraduate study program hosted by the GOETHE-INSTITUT in Tunis and directed by Bettina Pelz. TASAWAR fellows and alumni/ae work jointly in various constellations under the umbrella of TASAWAR COLLECTIVE. Members are based in countries across the SWANA region and Europe.
The fellows listed on this page either completed or are currently participating in the one-year TASAWAR program: a custom-tailored program for artists, curators, art mediators, and cultural producers who wish to further or integrate curatorial activities in their practice. The studios encompass lectures, discussions, and training with local and international experts. These are structured around content- and concept-driven exhibitions, discussions, and critical writing. In addition to the studios, each edition includes three praxis projects: an exhibition, a conference, and a publication. Many of these results can also be found in the Projects section of this website.
